Important Information

Q. What is the normal life span of a printer head?

There is no set time that a head will last, since the durability of a printer head depends on how you use them. Printer heads which are idle for a prolonged period of time, or which are subject to excessive pressure or force when removing / installing, are not going to last as long as others.

Q. If you only use original package ink, will the nozzle still get clogged?

Yes. Heads may get clogged even if you use original package ink only.

Q. How do you clean the heads and inspect the nozzles?

Methods vary, according to the printer model. Refer to the user instruction sheet / manual.

Q. I refilled a black cartridge. and now its leaking. What should I do?

Insufficient pressure inside the cartridge could cause leakage. You may have to extract a small amount of ink from the cartridge. When you do the extracting, - place the cartridge below the injector, and as you pull the injector in the opposite direction, a little air will come out first, followed by a small amount of ink. Ideally, extract only between 2-3 ml. If leaking continues after this procedure, it means mean the airpack inside the cartridge is damaged. When the airpack is damaged, you can no longer use the cartridge.

Q. After refilling a colored cartridge, some of the colors are not printing out.

When refilling, it is important to replenish the appropriate amount of ink. When the level is too low, the ink might not able to pass through the filter to reach to nozzle part. After refilling ink to the recommended level, install the fixing bar included in the purchasing package, and using the air control injector, link the bar at the bottom and extract a small amount of ink.

If the cartridge has been left unused for a while, let the nozzle stand upright for five to ten minutes with a warm, moistened tissue around the bottom. The warmth and moisture will disolve the dried ink and induce normal ink flow.

Q. After recharging, the printer doesn't recognize the cartridge. What can I do?

Recognition problems are usually caused by damage to the circuit board that is attached to the cartridge. If you installed a wet or stained cartridge, the electric signals can't transfer correctly. Remove any moist or dirt on the circuit board with a tissue before reinstalling the cartridge.

If doing this doesn't solve the problem, the cartridge may no longer be usable.

Q. After refilling the colors, the colors are all mixed up when printing. How do I solve this problem?

This problem may have been caused by a reversed flow of inks in the filter located at the bottom of the cartridge. You may have to extract all the colors that print mixed up. In order to remove previously mixed colors from the nozzle, attach a moistened tissue at the bottom, and let it stand upright for about ten minutes. If the problem is caused by incorrect injection of colors, you may need to clean inside the sponge as well.

Q. How can I extend the life of my cartridge?

In order to use a cartridge longer, you should avoid excessive printing while the ink level is very low. When the output print starts to look faded or unclear, i e., when there is little ink left in the cartridge, you have to refill it. When the cartridge is left unused for too long, it is difficult to succesfully recondition the cartridge. In addition, be careful not to expose you cartridge to moisture, dirt, and water. When refilling a cartridge, read the instructions carefully and proceed according to the order indicated.

How to keep cartridges in good condition?

1. Please do not print without enough ink so as to protect your printer from being damaged.

The cartridges for HP, Samsung / Lexmark, and Canon printers adopt ink-spraying mechanism based in the high temperature thermal expansion method. So, if you keep printing without enough ink, it can cause damage in the nozzle head due to over heating from the temperature. In this case, there is some possibility that printing cannot be done or vending will appear on the printing paper for a certain time. Especially when you are using color cartridges, you need to refill ink timely. With proper attention and maintenance, you can refill normal cartridge 8 times.

2. Empty cartidge should be refilled immediately and not to be kept in the air.

The ideal condition for refilling ink is when there is little ink in the cartridge. But unfortunately, we cannot see inside. So, it is recommended that you catch a right time from the printed papers. In addition, when the catridge is kept in the air after being completely run out, the moisture of ink will vapor and the nozzle could be easilly clogged. It can cause some refill failures.

3. Please not to leave printers without use a long time.

When we do not use printer for long time, we can see printing cannot be done properly ever after the cartridge is from the original manufacturer. It is useful for you to print some pages once in a week or so.

4. Please select proper ink according to your printer.

Even though ink has same color, the components of the ink could be different according to the printer, the cartridge, the nature of cartridge nozzle, the size of nozzle and the spped of printing. Therefore, please remember to make a certain check on what ink or cartriage is suitable for the printer and be sure to read the manual carefully before refilling.

5. Refill inks and breakdown of printers.

Refilling inks cannot be the cause of printer troubles. But such problems as the condition of cartridge, injection method and incorrect use of refilling inks could be the problems of low quality printing.

CAUTIONS:

1.Please select proper Ink-mate model according to the printer.
2.Please refill before ink run out. (If the cartridge was out of the use for a long time and the nozzle was clogged, printing cannot be well done, even though the refill is successfully carried out.)
3. You can refill the cartridge about 5-8 times (it is almost the same price as a new printer.)
4. When ink is not enough, please don't try to print. It can damage the cartridge nozzle.
5. You can divide ink according to the cartridge condition.
6. When you refill ink, please try not to touch nozzle at the cartridge bottom and gold-color contacting part at the cartridge side. They should be protected from moisture and dirt.
7. Please refill ink slowly and be carefully not to mix other colors.

EMERGENCY MEASURES

1. When a fixed white line appears, it means,

The printer head is damaged. First you have to head cleaning. If it does not work after cleaning you need to replace the cartridge.

2.When the printer does not work or the error message comes after installation, it means,

Moisture or ink is stained at the contacting part of the cartridge. Please clean the cartridge with soft tissue and re-install it. If the same problem occurs, please change a new cartidge.

3. When the ink is intermettently not flowed out, it requires,

Please place the cartridge on the wet tissue and flow out some ink. Then clean the cartridge 1-2 times and use it.
